Consumers are looking for relevant health information at every stage of the patient pathway and using sources beyond just their physician. In fact, Manhattan Research recently released a study that show that more U.S. adults use the Internet rather than asking a doctor when it comes to obtaining health and medical information. Additionally, the study shows that consumers are much more likely to start their health information gathering process by using a search engine rather than going directly to a Web site.
